| Central Wisconsin Electric Cooperative’s new headquarters in Rosholt, Wisconsin combines two offices into one. The 49,000 sq. ft. headquarters was built for only $90 a square foot and includes office, garage and warehouse space. The facility features an 80-ton geothermal loop field system and a rural fire protection system with a 70,000 gallon water storage tank. The office area is 16,500 sq. ft. and houses many unique spaces. The line crew has their own crew room and locker room allowing them to be more efficient. There is a large training room that the cooperative has chosen to make a public space that local organizations can rent; it also serves as the new town hall. Other creature comforts include built in office furniture, an appealing board room and a high-tech operations/dispatch area. The 21,000 sq. ft. vehicle storage facility has enough space to neatly organize all the cooperative’s trucks and equipment comfortably. This space also includes a vehicle wash bay that allows for quick and easy clean up. With precast wall panels, heated floors and high bay fluorescent lighting, this is an extremely energy efficient space. There is a two-bay vehicle repair garage as well to help meet all maintenance needs now and in the future. The 7,000 square foot warehouse area offers ample space for CWEC’s storage needs by utilizing heavy duty speed racking. |
