Market & Johnson announce Project Managers Kevin Renley and Jim Bunkelman earn LEED Accreditation

February 2010 -- Market & Johnson is pleased to announce Kevin Renley and Jim Bunkelman, project managers at the firm, earned accreditation in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) Accredited Professional (AP) by the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI). This professional certificate recognizes individuals who demonstrate knowledge of green building practices required for successful implementation of the Leadership In Energy And Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System™. LEED is the nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction and operation of high-performance green buildings. Kevin Renley has a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from UW-Madison and is a registered Professional Engineer. He has worked in Market & Johnson’s La Crosse office since 2001. Jim Bunkelman works in the firm’s Eau Claire office and has a B.S. degree in Construction Management from UW-Stout. He has been with the Market & Johnson since 2000. Market & Johnson announces Don Carlson has been named President

January 2010 -- Market & Johnson is pleased to announce Don Carlson has been named President of the firm. Don has been with Market & Johnson for over 39 years and has been a key leader of the company for much of the last decade. We are excited about providing him the opportunity to lead the entire firm. CEO Dan Market will continue to be an active member of the leadership team, where he will focus on customer relations, business development, and project development. He will also continue to have an active role within the business community. Jerry Shea will assume a new role within the firm as Executive Vice President. He will oversee the operational side of the company and provide guidance to our project managers and work closely with the field operations team. Matt Faulkner was named Vice President and will continue to serve as a Senior Project Manager focusing on several of the firm’s largest customers along with working with the other principals of the firm on strategic initiatives. May 2009 -- Market & Johnson is pleased to announce the hiring of Kevin Monson, CPA, as the firm’s Chief Financial Officer. Kevin has served as a senior manager for Wipfli, and most recently was the Chief Financial Officer for Eau Claire Coop Oil Company in Eau Claire. Kevin is replacing Steve Breitenfeldt who retired in April. Market & Johnson is the largest general building contractor/construction manager in western Wisconsin with offices in Eau Claire and La Crosse. Market & Johnson hires Bud Miyamoto as their new Business Development Representative in La Crosse

NOVEMBER 2009 -- Market & Johnson is excited to announce the hiring of Bud Miyamoto as our new Business Development Representative in La Crosse. Bud will lead the Market & Johnson team in securing new construction project and building relationships with key business leaders in the Coulee Region. He will also become heavily engaged into the La Crosse Community by becoming involved with community organizations and boards. Bud Miyamoto previously served as Executive Director of the non-profit business organization Downtown Mainstreet, Inc. (DMI) in La Crosse, WI since 1992. He was responsible for the private leadership of DMI in all facets of economic redevelopment and revitalization of La Crosse’s Central Business District – Historic Downtown La Crosse. As Executive Director of DMI for 17 years, he was responsible for downtown’s economic rejuvenation by managing and leading the private/public partnership in the implementation of the “City Vision 2000 & 2020 Master Plans”. Under his leadership, over $285 million dollars of re-investment has been made, with new downtown tax base and job growth at historical highs. His work has led to the recruitment of large corporations and various types of small/medium businesses, development of award winning beautification projects downtown and on the historic riverfront, and strong growth in downtown residential development. In 2002, downtown La Crosse was a recipient of the prestigious national Great American Main Street Award from the National Trust of Historic Preservation and was selected as being the “Best Revitalized Downtown” in Wisconsin. The 61 year old Market & Johnson has been located in La Crosse for over 13 years and has completed many of the signature projects in the area during that time. Our experience includes the La Crosse Center, La Crosse Health Science Center, WTC Academic Center, WTC Wing Tech, The People’s Food Cooperative, First Federal (now Associated), La Crosse County Law Enforcement Center, Market Square Parking Ramp, Kwik Trip Convenient Stores, as well as many others.
